CD-ROM Description

The Print Shop Deluxe 15 retains the legendary ease of use made famous by the previous 14 versions of the software, while adding a handful of useful applets and functions. As with all Print Shop products, you can make a ton of stationery items including signs, banners, letterhead, cards, calendars, fliers, and so on. The interface is absolutely terrific and geared toward both rank amateurs and experts: you can create any one of these items with a wizard to guide you through the entire process, or start with a blank slate and build the item yourself. Throughout the process, you can use your own photos and art or pick from thousands upon thousands of ready-made bits of clip art, borders, photos, designs, and more.

Missing Feature To Do "BORDERS*

Having used Print Shop since Version 3 was out, I am very pleased for the most part with their software. Believe I get plenty of 'bang' for a small buck. Made weird discovery just tonight -- I cannot locate the "borders" function. The icon on the left toolbar should read frames and borders. I only have 'frames'. Have email support to see what's up. Have a feeling that it is due to Win XP and one or both of the service packs I've installed. If anyone has had this problem and solved it would enjoy an email. Thanks. Patsy926@comcast.net

Why can't I see what I am working on?????

I have used Print Shop Deluxe products for years with no problems. I had an older version on my computer but purchased this when I got my new computer with XP and no longer had the installation disk for the other version. I have to click on the print preview button to see what I am working on otherwise all I see is a blank piece of paper in front of me. I have tried the "so called" web troubleshooter but no one else seems to have the same complaint. Maybe these newer programs just run that way. I also downloaded a free trial of Print Master 15 and had the same problem. I would love some actual help with this but can't seem to find it so the program is going back!!!!!

After 15 versions, you'd think they'd get it right!

Good old Print Shop! I have a love/hate relationship with it. On the one hand, it is the greatest thing going for arranging "objects" like text boxes, photographs and other graphics on a page for producing greeting cards, signs and the like. Fifteen is the third version I have purchased, and it features a custom paper wizard, with which you are supposed to be able to create a template for unique paper sizes. First of all, there are only a few formats available upon which the wizard can work its magic. Second of all, it doesn't work very well. I wasted HOURS trying to get some cards printed without having the objects print crazily off the edge of the paper. All I succeeded in doing was to mess up the standard half fold card template, after which it was trial and error and a lot of wasted paper before I got a card presentable enough to send. As long as you aren't too creative, The Print Shop is a useful workhorse of a tool for home printing.
