It should come with a crutch it's so lame

It's not that this program isn't useful, it's that there are freeware photo editing programs that do everything this does and more in a more streamlined way. Before you buy this do a search for Photofiltre or any of the other freeware programs.^M

Frustrating Product

I will never buy another Adobe Product. This program has a very steep learning curve. Once I got the hang of it I found that every time I want to use it I have to reinstall it, and it won't work if I don't let it call home for permission. This wastes a lot of time. Much as I hate to do so, I will go back to Microsoft.

The best version of Photoshop elements

Elements version 2.0 has many of the features you need from Photoshop, and it's faster and easier to use than the current version 4.0. You can't create files in CYMK color for printing, but this is only an issue for users that are seeking to do commercial quality items, such as fliers for business. It's perfect for editing photographs and web work, and the tools from Photoshop that the product has are many of the ones I commonly use, so it's quite a bargain compared to the price of Photoshop.
