Very powerful for the price

I was very pleasantly surprised at just how good this software turned out to be. It's easy to use, but still very functional for coming up with home interior designs. Although it is distributed by Activion, it is really based on the same software as the "Better Homes & Gardens Home Design" program. ^M

GREAT way to virtually re-do a room in your home!

Has anyone tried the Trading Spaces Design Companion by Activision? I bought it to help me with decorating my new home. I've only just begun to play with the program, but so far so good! It really does help to put things into perspective. I love the fact that I am able to lay out the floor plan to my home, place our funiture and fixtures into the floor plan, and then play with the colour / texture options to see whether we would like the transformation or not. It sure beats experimenting with our real home - it's less costly this way, and we get to try out all sorts of things to see what our home would look like if we changed things this way and that.
