Fun for 6 year olds and fun for 40+ year old Moms

I admit it. Last Christmas, I bought a Nintendo DS and Animal Crossing:Wild World for my 6 year old. By April, I just had to have my own DS and ACWW. I love this game and my daughter and I can actually play it together. I've found that it encourages her to try out her reading skills. Plus, I like that the game encourages her to think about the social aspects of the animal characters. I know it is not an educational game but it turns out to be a sneaky way to encourage reading and the game also encourages my daughter to remember key things such as the days of the week (so she can see K.K. Slider play on Saturday night) and the layout of the town.^M

Great Gift Idea!!!

I'm 24 years old and bought this game over the summer. Since then I have bought this game for my neighbor who is 10 and another girl that is 11. Both girls loved the game as well as I. My boyfriend who is also my age laughed at me for playing this game and one day decided to give it a try and now plays it everyday. Some people may thing this game is lame but I have yet to meet anyone who gave it a fair chance and didn't like it. Even my sister's boyfriend who is 31 was playing this game for over an hour! The characters are funny and there are so many things that can be done. There have been times where I might get bored with the game but I've played it every day since I got it, which has been four months. I suggest buying this game is you're interested or buy it for someone that has a DS. I also recommend buying the $15 AC playing guide to go with it, it makes the experience better!!!

Fun game

Animal crossing is so fun! You can build your town how ever you want and it teaches you how life is with animals! At first you can get a job. You can meet every one that is in your town and invite people to your town and other animals move and leave your town and one time I got a lion in my town! You can grow fruit in your town too!
