More of the same - fortunately as last years Lego StarWars was great
My son (10) saved his pennies knowing this title was to be released. He thinks it is great (and it is). The storyline is a bit different to the first Lego StarWars with a few different characters and plenty of them. There is no android General Grevious as the storyline loosely follows the first 3 films (IV to VI), so you get cuddly Ewoks and a token Wookie this time. It's pretty much more of the same though (Lego StarWars I) which is rather good as the original was great anyway. The game works very well on the PS2. Lego PC based games like RockRaiders, Island and AlpaTeam are always great but seem to crash regularly, none of that here. ^M
A great game I can play with my five year old
My son got the original Lego Star Wars game for Christmas and it held his interest for nine months or so, until this game came out. Lego Star Wars II is based on the original three movies, and is a great game you can spend hours playing with your kids. My kid's imagination revolves around Star Wars and this game. He knows all the characters and when he pretends, he plays out levels from the game.^M
Great for kids
I was myself surprised at how in depth these lego games are, basically folllowing the entire story lines for all three original movies all in one video game. That seemed like quite a value. My son loves these games and as a parent it is nice knowing that these games are E rated. Seeig some of the lego version scenes in this game are quite amusing when compared to the actual movies.
