Customer Reviews

Is a good original game.

Original for the control scheme, is like a PC using the remote like a mouse and nunchuck like directional keyboard. I don't have problem with the controls, I like this game.

After investing time and money

I was frustated at first but after leaning how the controls work, I found the game to be very entertaining. Red Steel looks fantastic on my 50inch Plasma with component cables. It is a good story with exciting battles. It will take some time learning to aim and sword fight but the payoffs are huge. Those who don't like this game probably have not invested enough time learning the controls or are just not coordnated with the Wii mote. I have struggle through the learning process of playing with a mouse and keyboard, Dual analog sticks, and now the Wii mote. But it can be done to satisfaction is given enough time. I am 70% through the game now and am loving it. I will definately play it through again now that my skills with the Wii mote are much better. Give it a try but also give it some time as well. You will not regret it.

Controls are way off

The graphics are good, the music and sound are decent but the control is just frustrating and annoying.Maybe if Ubisoft didn't rush it and if they actually played it they could of made this perfect. The sword fights are cool through,it's just the sloppy gun play and aim that slows this game down.
