medical version not strictly necessary for every doctor I am dictating using the preferred version of Dragon 9.0. I was curious as to whether the huge price difference between the preferred version and the medical version was warranted. Until recently, as a specialist surgeon, I have not found that the additional cost for the medical version would have been strictly necessary. However, I finally upgraded to the medical version after 3-4 months when I found it for a lower price. I recommend that you carefully consider whether you need to spend the extra 900 to $1000 for the medical version. ^M
