Windows only machines will soon be obsolete
Parallels was a God send the moment it hit the net. I've been running this software since its inception on an Intel Mac and I see no real reason why anyone should consider purchasing a Windows only machine. Run Windows and Linux at "near native" speed. Personally, Parallels + my main Mac Pro machine boots and runs faster and more stable than any Windows computer I have ever owned. ^M
Printer problems
I installed Parallels with no problems then added Word, Excel and Quickbooks, the only Windows programs I need, but I need them to work as I use them my business. When I try to print the system crashes and reboots and crashes and reboots while printing gibberish. This makes it completely useless to me. Tech support returned my email as undeliverable(bad address)although I used the link on their site. So it's a program that will not work with common applications and is not supported by the company
This product saves me a lot of money
I used to have a dedicated Linux box and a Windows machine. With Parallels Desktop, I only need one iMac to do the job. The tools and drivers comes with the software is great. If you are using windows, you can move out your mouse just like you move out from a regular window. I like the manual that comes with the software. It is difficult to find such a good quality manual book in any computer sofware nowadays.
