Don't buy this product As satisfied users of the 2006 version of this product, we promptly "upgraded" to the 2007 version. What a mistake! Of the 3 computers on which we installed it, 2 have had serious problems and Trend Micro's tech support has been no help at all. I resolved one BSOD problem myself by upgrading the drivers for my daughter's Linksys network interface card; the only "solution" provided by Trend Micro was to try a different version of Pc-Cillin which didn't work either. ^M
What's the problem??? After years of wasting my time (and money) on McAfee and Norton packages, I converted to PC-Cillin 2006 one year ago. Contrary to the very few negative reviews at the time, the software went in smoothly, and on the first system scan following the removal of Norton, found any number of virus' that Norton had allowed through. After one year of complete satisfaction, I recently upgraded to 2007 and ditto - no problems installing, with CPU resources or anything else. I have recently gone to Internet Explorer 7 and no problems! The only suggestion for improvement that I would have is that after updates download, it seems to take a very long time to rebuild the anti-spam cache.
Installations went Flawlessly Contrary to other reviewers, the installation of this software completed without any problems. In one case I removed an older version of PC-cillin and installed 2007 without incident. The other machine was running Norton. Norton was removed and PC-cillin installed without any problems.^M
