Mac user?
These guys didn't support Mac's last year so I had to go to TurboTax. TurboTax actually did a good job for Mac's and I got very good and prompt support when I called in after making some bonehead mistakes. Can't say the same when I called into H&R Block for the 2004 tax returns. It doesn't look like TaxCut is committed to the Mac platform.
disappointed
Like others, I've used this program over the yrs and one of the biggest selling feature was the included e-file. Without that, this program is not good enough on it's own merit. Thanks to the suggestions below about other alternatives. I will look elsewhere.
Wasn't e-file Fed included in past years
H&R automatically mailed me a copy of TaxCut Premium Fed+State, which you pay for if you choose to install. I seem to recall the the Fed efile was included in the Deluxe+State version from years past. This time it's $16 bucks for Fed & $16 for state. I like Taxcut, but come on, that's over a 50% increase over last years product. I'm looking elsewhere this year before I install.^M
